i have at&t high speed yahoo dsl internet service and my modem doesnt support wireless internet so do i have to disconnect the ethernet cable from my computer and plug it in to my ps3 etc. thanks

Buy a router, and then your PS3 and PC can share the DSL connection.
I'd also highly reccomend a router because it helps protect your PC (and other devices) from attacks from the internet with its firewall.
Many routers support both wireless and ethernet, so you won't even need a separate ethernet cable for your PS3.

the modem should have more than 1 ethernt port..... If not just buy a hub, so u dont need to disconect ur computer.
