I'm interested in getting CCTV Video surveilance for my property. I will do the monitoring myself, but how would I find a local company that could provide and install the hardware? Yellow pages give me nothing.

Hi,

How do dead pixels occur in LCD projectors?
And how can you reduce the risks of them happening?
And if they do happen, what can I do and how much will it cost to fix the dead pixels?

Thanks!!

I have gone through at least 6 controllers, since I got my Playstation 2. I lose about 1 controller a year. My first two could have been because I abused them whenever I got pissed to that point, but eversince then I have been pretty careful.

And whenever one malfunctioned, it was the same symptom every time. It would always want to move the character to the left very slowly; and/or cursor would cycle through all the option faster than I could ever do myself. I think maybe one of them might have had a turbo button, but only one of them if any, so that can't be the problem. The worst thing is that it isn't consistant: sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't. Just to be a bigger pain in my ***!

My cousin got his Playstation 2 about a month before I got mine and he's had the same controller eversince! Dust collects easily in my house so maybe that's it. And now my new infrared controllers are starting to screw with me. What's wrong with them? Did I anger the PS2 gods?

I'm not looking for testing sites, but sites that teach you what you need to know to get your Technicians License.

Hi,

I'm planning to buy a Panasonic PT-AX100 projector.
However, I came across quite a few reviews which said they got "jaggies" (i assume thats jagged lines, right?) at 1080i (and i assume that means a type of resolution, right?)
Anyway, here are the "compatibilities" of the projector I want to get.
When and for what would I use each one? And what will difference be between each one?
And which one would I use if I want to show films played from a DVD player?
And which one would I use if I want to play Sky television on the projector?
And finally, which one would I use if I want to hook up an Xbox and play Xbox on the projector?

Compatibility: HDTV:
720p, 1080i, 1080p/60
1080p/24, 1080p/50, 525i
525p, 576i, 576p
625i, 625p, 1125i

Thank you very very much!!!

I was unable to enter an answer for "Astrida G" regarding this issue, so I'm going to post it here. In the past few weeks I have been unable to access yahoo email on my sidekick as well, but I tried the actual wap address and it works great. Bookmark this URL and you should be fine: http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=mail

Hi,

I'm planning to buy a Panasonic PT-AX100 projector to project onto a 100" screen. However, if I want to be able to do that if the projector is only 16 feet (4.85 metres) throw distance, I must increase zoom to like 1.5x rather than default 1.0x.
What effect on image quality/performance etc...will this increase in zoom have?

Thank you!!
