The only thing that would make a difference would be models made for Japan and models made for the US (among others), but they are the same. The PSP uses Memory Sticks and does not contain memory within, so you would have to buy those for your son. They will be coming out with PSP's in the future that are 4 GB in size, but they are not available at the time.

Get the PSP Giga PACK = 1GB Memory Stick Pro + PSP Console £250 (Brand New)

OR

PSP Console via e-bay or Amazon + 4GB = £200 (Fairly Used)

All the PSPs are the same. You buy the standard system, then you buy a larger memory stick as the standard is 32mb. There is a 1Gb or larger available. You can buy an expansion pack from Best buy that has an extra battery and connects grips for better game play as well as changing the joystick. If you have a wireless network at home you can connect to the internet and install the browser updates and download updates to games. The system is pretty adaptable. Online you can find a camera display that allows you to send the display to a tv for larger gameplay as well. All play UMD dvds, and the expansion pack comes with a USB cable that allows you to copy files to them memory card so you can enjoy music, or pics, or videos.

the one with the largest memory is the PSP Giga Pack... but im not sure they do this any more... but all u gotta do it buy a PSP value pack... which i tihnk is £150 now... and then go buy a 1gb Memory Stick... the stick that u need is Memory Stick Pro Duo.. and the 1gb version of these cost around £50 to about £60.

i might say possibly $a hundred and fifty may well be very lots, even however 128MB isn't lots while in comparison with the 1GB taking part in cards or maybe the 16GB ones popping out in March. because of the fact that a clean PSP might fee approximately $one hundred sixty, and the 128MB reminiscence Stick might fee possibly $10 greater or much less, and each and each interest may well be approximately $20-$40, $a hundred and fifty may well be much. i'm purely suggesting that. even possibly $a hundred seventy five may well be an ok deal.

well there is really no difference, to hold the largest memory you have to have a memory stick that can hold a bigger capacity, thats what your son means when he means the largest memory to hold games and stuff. u just have to buy a bigger memory stick. and you are right they all look the same because they are.
