they've come a long way in the last 5 years.
I wouldn't be surprised if you could watch movies (maybe buy them on a little card an insert them into the phone). Streaming TV will probably be a standard on most phones...
I'm not sure how much further we can go with them - maybe perfect the music quality to make them more of an MP3 player, and do the same with the camera functionality - more megapixels and functions so it can actually be a replacement for a digital camera.

I have the chocolate with the 2gb card i have full length movies on my phone so it will probably change pretty quick

Heck in 5 years- they could be implanted in our ears or something like that science fiction stuff.
