I'm confused. A lithium ion battery dies quickly, right? Does it need to be charged to work again?

Ok, here's the deal. For Christmas, I have a large star that I made last year out of rope light and blinking lights that I put on the mast (pole) that holds my weather station. This year, I'm adding another additional star inside the big star made of blue lights to signify the son we are expecting in April. I also wanted to put a single LED flashing light in the smaller star for a heartbeat (and to piss off the neighbors... hee hee). My problem is this: I've bought a battery operated LED strobe light that you're supposed to use on a bike, while running, etc. The documentation says that the light will run for about 100 hours - not near enough for the christmas season. I want to figure out something that will let me power up the blinking LED's with the power that is already going to the lights on the star, but I can't find anything out there that is a AC powered LED blinker/strobe. I also can run DC up the pole if needed, say from a 6 volt lantern battery. Any ideas?

This is not an HD compatible TV, but an old fashioned flat screen with ColorStream. I had never used the component inputs in the back. However, in my first attempt, the red component input broke off...meaning the metal piece came out with the cable. The metal piece and color ring are still in tact, but when I try to put it back in, I still get no picture. How would I go about repairing this type of thing on my own?

I'm looking to spend under 200.00. Anyone with any experience with these, please let me know which gives you the best "near" or "close to" HD quality you can get. Thanks.

I have recently been interetsed in Ipods and have been looking at prices etc. I was fairly excited about the new shuffle, but the new nano looks like a beauty. I was wondering if it's trully worth the money to buy the nano or just stick to the no-screened shuffle.
Thanks

When I plug the console in the outlet, 3 red flashing lights appear. I tried to do all I could, but nothing happened. Please help me use my PAL Xbox 360 in the USA, I just brought it with me from Europe.
