I have a 32" Toshiba tube TV that is about 6 years old. When it is first turned on, the vertical is shrunken down to about an inch high horizontal band in the middle of the screen. After warming up for about a minute, you can turn it off and back on and it works fine for a few minutes, then cuts out once more for a few seconds, then works normally for the rest of the time it is on. It seems to be getting worse, and just started as brief blackouts. I'm wondering whether it is worth it to get it repaired, or to just buy another one of the same model for $329 on sale?
Thanks ahead of time...
