How do i transfer Word documents, Pictures and Music from my ThinkPad to my PDA? I tried everything, but i only can exchange the address book...

There are two components running in a sync operation: one is syncing addr book, contact list, etc personal information the other part is installing programs and computerized data files. The first happens automagically, the second part need to be triggered by an install program on the PC. It is the second part you need to do and not aware of.
