I need a digital SLR camera THAT CAN TAKE FILM QUALITY PICTURES, for under $200. Any suggestions?

Ain't happenin yet.
Least expesive (new) DSLR is either nikon D40 (not released yet $499) or Pentax *ist DL (recently discontinued $599).

Wait about 5 years and buy a used Nikon D200.

haha thats an oxymoron
even if you found a DSLR for under 200 its not going to be good in anyway
im talkin a new one used you might be able to find a used D50 or something

this camera ...was not designed... yet ... or maybe you missed a zero that so is $200 not $2000
