Yes the Dual Tuner Tivo Box will work really well with Basic Analog Cable. It is actually built to require at least one of the sources to be analog cable. It can only be used as a dual tuner for either 2 analog feeds, or 1 analog feed and 1 Digital feed tuned using the cable companies set top box. As long as you only want to record channels 1-99 the TiVo dual tuner is the perfect box for you.
