Consumer Electronics - 22 November 2006

I have an Adiovox LCD TV, Philips DVD player, VCR with PVR from cable co. Explorer 8300. I would like to hook these up with s/video. I have tried to set it up so I can run everything through the receiver. I have A feeling I'm doing something wrong via the DVD. It only has a s/video out. If I don't (instructions via another internet site) conect the s/video to the receiver, how are all the components suposed to get video from the cable,DVD,PVR etc. nothing goes to the moniter except the s/video in from the cable box. If anyone can help me with a step by step on how to set this all up s/video, I would be so greatful. I won't imbarase myself in telling you how long I've been at this. I would like to avoid doing the "red, white and yellow wire" route.

I want to use a song I downloaded (and paid for) from the itunes music store in a powerpoint presentation. I tried buring it to disc and then importing it from there, but the file is protected. Is there anyway I can convert the song to mp3 format or something so I can use it in my powerpoint project? Please help!

I search for the price on the internet at stores like walmart and target but I always get these Xbox 360's with video games included that I don't want and other things. How much does the Xbox 360 the normal one not that core one and I was just wondering how much would one of those things that hold an Xbox 360 up cost. Please try to give me an exact price for both.

Choose between a TV you think would be better for a Bedroom.

I'm going on a trip next spring break to Rome, and I want to take great photos. I currently have a kodak easyshare, and not very satisfied with it. Does anyone know what are the best cameras for fantastic photos. I was thinking of getting a Canon EOS. I dont really care for the look of the camera. I care about the quality of the photos it takes. Requirements of a digital camera for me is that it HAS to have digital image stabilization, and bright capture technology. Does anyone know a really good camera for taking pictures when traveling? The zoom does not have to be that much really. And I want it to be at least 6 or 7 megapixels.
Please, help. My price range of a camera is about 300-700 bucks.

I have a Sony audio/video surround sound system. A few days ago I was blasting some music and all of the sudden "PROTECT" started flashing. Ever since then it hasn't worked. I opened it up and the one fuse I saw seemed to still be good. What could be the problem?

Any advice would be awesome.

I'm looking for black iPod speakers, but a particular one. I've seen them a couple times in magazines and on tv. They look like an old school boombox from the 80's, it has that real boxy look two it and is portable. If you know where I can find them please ket me know.
