The XBox 360 comes in two configurations:
The Core System
The Pro System
The core system is the more basic of the two, and does NOT have a hard drive.
The Pro System has a hardrive....With a hard drive you will be able to download new content, store large save game files, and store music / photos.

First off,
YOU CANT STORE MUSIC AND PHOTOS
YOU CANT STORE MUSIC AND PHOTOS
YOU CANT STORE MUSIC AND PHOTOS
YOU CANT STORE MUSIC AND PHOTOS
YOU CANT STORE MUSIC AND PHOTOS
Microsoft locks out anything you attach. You cant move mp3s, OR pictures, OR videos to the system. Getting a song on there can only be done from ripping the cd. And then you will oget song title only if you are lucky, or manually type it out. Its terrible.
PS3 is the multimedia system. You can actually STORE media on it.
Difference with the 360 premium and 360 core is just a hard drive and wireles control.
Never mind tho
$400 = Premium Xbox 360
$ 50 = Second wireless controler
$100 = wireless network adapter
$200 = hddvd drive
$140 = Repair costs
$100 = Replacement Xbox 360 power supply
$ 50 = one yer od xbox live
$10 = download 2 or 3 wallpapers for the 360
$10 = download 5 gamertag icon images
$60 = 1 game
