It sure does, you can even chose what screen you want the GBA games to appear on (top or bottom) just in case you dont know, the GBA games will not use the touch screen feature. and it does NOT play the regular gameboy or gamboy color games.

yup u can put game boy advance cartirigage in ur ds but itz located at the bottom of the ds and not the top. the top has the ds cards. (there not too expensive if u want to buy new ds games) the lowest ive seen them go for is 20$ and the higgest would be 50$

Game Boy Advance cartridges will work on a DS. However, DS cartridges will not work on a Game Boy Advance.

All but the original Gameboy Games to the Gameboy Pocket/Color are backward compatible. DS is 100% backwards compatible.
