I'll be traveling around the world soon and i want to see which slr cam will best fit for traveling. It'd have to be sturdy while capturing all of the landscapes I'll be taking pics with. In addition, it'd be great if it was portable. I'm thinking EOS XT but can't decide on the lens.

I'm not very technical so excuse me sounding dull, but you know when you get up close to the screen you can see only 3 colours... Well the red doesn't work 95% of the time. It's usually working when it's switched on, then fades away. And then sometimes the red takes over the whole screen for about 15 seconds and you can't even see the picture through it.

Is it fixable or time to trade in for a flat screen. (I'd feel bad tho cos the advent of flat screen, fab though it is has meant loss of jobs in my area, cos we had a Sony plant making the tubes, but they've stopped production here and switched to europe).

Sorry, rambling, back to the point, reckon it's worth lugging it to a repair shop, or straight to the tip. Either way I'm fed upof white people being grey and black people being green (honest that's how they look with no red)!

I was thinking of buying this suround sound system at walmart.its a durabrand 80-watt 5.1 system.I wanted to know how i could set it up in my bedroom.It has one subwoofer and the rest are all little speakers.I was thinking that I would put the subwoofer on the floor next to the tv and then all the little speakers up in all the corners.is this a pretty good set up? I really dont have anywhere else to put them than besides in the corners anyway.so any help would be beneficial.

when something is supposed to be quicktime, like a pop-up ad or something it has a quicktime icon with a question mark in the middle. and when i try to play a video in quicktime player, i can hear audio but there is no video, its white. can anyone help me?

My Dish network RF remote dosent work very well. sometimes I have to push a button two or three times to get it to accept it. I've tried new batteries. My reciever is only about 20 feet down a hallway from where I usually use the remote. any suggestions?

The past few months my cell phone provider has added on options that I have not asked for. I have to call them every month to have it removed. Is it legal for a wirless company to add things with out being. I feel they are trying to hide things in the bill every month.
