last night i heard my mama singing a song ooweee chirpy chirpy cheep cheep , chirpy chirpy cheep chheep .wheres your mama gone , wheres your mama gone ..... it called chirpy chirpy cheep cheep.its a song from the late 1960s middle aged school teachers seem to just love making their students sing it its a very boring song

Check the link below. It was definately "middle of the road" and not "Boney M".
5 Weeks at number 1and 34 weeks in the charts, back in 1971.... what were our parents smoking ;o)
They don't write songs like that anymore.... so we do have something to be grateful for :o)

The song was called "Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep".
I don't think it was the same girl that sang the other song.
"Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep" was a hit in the late sixties.for a band called "Middle of the Road".

I cannot remember the band - last heard it around 1970.
I think that it was called "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep" - No I am not kidding.
