ok my last question stated that my ps2 had trouble reading dvd's and ps2 games. update: the disk spinner thing spins about a quarter turn then gives up. it does this with any disk, ps2 games, ps1 games, dvd's, and whatever else ps2 can read. i've opened it, cleaned the dust out, and watched the disk spinner with the second black cover still in place. the spinner begins spinning, then about a millisecond later it gives up giving me less than a quarter spin.

I am trying to make a custom iPod but sum of the stuff i downloaded doesnt work. I have learned that i must change the firmwire on the ipod. But the firmware has this checksum thing that checks to see if the size of the installed firmware is the same as what it would expect. Is there a way to hack the checksum thing and customize my iPod, or is there no way to do this?

I need a good voice quality 2 line speakerphone with the ability to page two other phones in my home. I get tired of yelling up the steps to my adult children who are still at home. If I could page or intercom them - things would be so much easier for me. My home is rather large and I hate yelling to get their attention.
I would really appreciate in the same phone a high quality speakerphone with high quality receive and talk. I have looked at most of the Panasonic, Cortellco, GE, RCA, and Uniden. They seem junky to me.

So i just got a new ipod for my b-day not more then 2 weeks ago and my brother downloaded limewire to my computer. but latley everytime i try to download a song, i'll get a pop up to a website to buy songs. not the song i'm trying to download but just to pay for songs all together. Then when im lucky enough to download, i try to put it onto my ipod it says its protected and cant be formatted. Is anyone else having that trouble? i told my bro and he said maybe theres some kind of new law and there trying to shut it down. Im new to this whole downloading thing anyways...is there a site that has as many songs as limewire to download and transfer. i dont mind paying for it i just really wanna start using my Ipod. Ive had my computer checked for viruses and nothing comes up. Maybe i need to upgrade to pro?

My ps2 doesn't recognize dvd's at all, and it has trouble reading anything else. ps2 games suddenly pause to load in the middle of gameplay. ps1 games take a couple of tries to load it completely. this is a version 7 old ps2. i think the model number is 39001

I have a camcorder that uses hi8 tapes. I have several 2 year old tapes that I tried playing but I can only hear what is on the tape but the screen stays blue. Only 3 out of 20 tapes to this. What do you think is the problem?

I want to buy a Juicy Couture Sidekick II by T-Mobile and i want it to be authentic and not used. There are international calls on my phone bill that were not made from my house but AT&T insists the calls were direct dialed. I, nor anyone from my house has never called any of these numbers in the 20+ years we have subscribed to AT&T long distance. They are now refusing to check the phone line and insist I pay over $600 in calls that were not made from our house. Any course of action recommended? I live in the state of California.

Particularly the Clock setting and if it can be manually tuned to certain FM stations? It's been 6 years since I've had this hooked up and just installed it in our boat. Plays GREAT, but I forgot how to set the clock or tune stations manually. THANKS!!!
