I've racked my brain and the internet trying to do this. I am adding cells F2 through to F13, that equals F15. I want to take the number from F15 and minus 7% to equal F16.
Can anyone help?

I am reformatting my computer. I have the Windows XP disk with the code. I insert it in the computer, then restart. When I get to the screen that says "press any key to boot from CD" I do that.

BUT... than I get a blue screen. It says "Windows Setup" at the top and then never does anything else. I have waited up to an hour for it to do something. I have tried hitting ENTER, but it doesn't do anything.

The disk is brand new - I have another disk, and it did the same thing. So I bought the new one (also because I didn't have the code) so I don't think it's a problem with the disk.

The instructions I have say (once I tell it to boot from the CD):
"From here, you will be prompted by the computer at each step.
"A. Choose the "Install Windows" option.
"B. Select your current partition and press "d" to delete it
"C. Create a new partition by pressing "c"
etc...

BUT I never even get to an "Install Windows"option! Any ideas?

my task bar is stuck on the left side of my screen. it moves now so that i can make it bigger vertically, i just cant get it to move to the bottom again. THE TASK BAR IS NOT LOCKED. it just wont let me drag it back down to the bottom.

I thought there was a way to insert a picture, and then pick which way you wanted the words in your text box to go - straight down, stretched over the picture, curved under, etc. Is there a way to do this in Word or is it just in Powerpoint? Could I do it in Paint? I have a brand new Compaq notebook with Windows Vista on it, but Word 97 (I hated Vista Word).
Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

Since I reloaded my Microsoft Picture It! 2002, whenever I try to choose a picture to work with, I get the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error for the file pip.exe "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. No one supports it anymore that I'm aware of - can't find it at Microsoft - HELP!! I sent the error messages in to Microsoft but no answers and can't find the software at the site.

I have one spreadsheet that i have to take data from another and apply to it. Is there a way to make it do auto using criteria such as: Sheet 1 (where the data is going) looks at sheet 2 and uses criteria such as, looking at 1 column to get part of the data and then a 2nd column to get what is acutally being put on sheet 1?

I have 2 excel documents. One is the 2nd part of the 1st one. When i select all in the 2nd one and click copy and/or cut , then go to the other excel and try to press paste- it doesn't work. In fact, the paste button isn't even blackened(it's grey=nothing to paste)

Every time I go to try and burn a 20 second clip to DVD using imovie then sharing it to idvd, at the stage where it is rendering menus it gives the error - error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows.
I need help!!
Do I need to compress it or something or do I need to reinstall idvd. I have 10GB of free space and the movie is literally 20 seconds long

Need an encyclopedia for my school laptop for when I need info but can't get an internet connection. I have a brand new IBM Thinkpad, and I think it could handle any new software.

I am in the process of purchasing a new Dell computer, however I am undecided, and do not know whether or not to choose Vista.
I have heard some unpleasant things about it.
If it helps, the Dell has a dual core processor, 2gb RAM, and a 350gb hard drive.
Would this set-up allow for a fast running of Vista?

Sometimes when I paste from Access to Excel it will put all of the rows in but it will only put the data into one column, even if there are multiple columns in Access. It happens a few times a day but I can't figure out a reason why it would do it sometimes and not others.

My hard disk recently crashed. Fortunately i had backed up everything into an external drive. I have now got back all the files from the external into my new hard disk. However, there are two folders called RECYCLER and System volume information. They appear in half shade and i cannot delete them. I get the message "acces denied" and advises me to see if the disk is wrtie protected. How can i get rid of these files? I use windows XP .
