I thought there was a way to insert a picture, and then pick which way you wanted the words in your text box to go - straight down, stretched over the picture, curved under, etc. Is there a way to do this in Word or is it just in Powerpoint? Could I do it in Paint? I have a brand new Compaq notebook with Windows Vista on it, but Word 97 (I hated Vista Word).
Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

You may be able to do what you want using WordArt.

Insert your image.

Insert WordArt, choose the style of text you want and type your text.

Choose "In Front of Text" for wrapping.

Then move the text around and drag the edges to size it the way you want.
