Sometimes its worse and I have to shut it down, and restart. Then it is ok. I have windows 98, could this be the problem?If I install windows xp, will this help? It makes a crunchy sound when it gets slow.

i need help. my dvd decrypter cant decrypt grudge 2. i'm having bad luck. i need to find an alternate bootlegging software that for sure can copy and dvd i need. a 2007 version would be nice. i will give the full star level plus that green thumbs up to whoever can give me what i need. if you don't know what i'm talking about then don't reply to this question. it saves time and i get one less stupid answer. please help! and for the record i know how to copy dvds it's just the software itself cant bypass the copy protection.

I installed Internet Explorer 7 with no noticable problems, but when I attempt to type a website into the address bar, it doesn't do a thing. In order to go to a website, I'm forced to search for it, and use only links. Anyone know a solution?

I began having problems when my husband downloaded PC MightyMax off the Net. I had installed IE version 7 on my PC November 10, 2006 and everything worked like it should. Through Mighty Max's instruction IE7 was removed. I was going to install IE 6 and after doing this, saw IE6 once when I opened my browser the first time then it was back to IE7. Having problems ever since. Mighty Max said it repaired a host of problems as soon as it was downloaded and throughout three days it continued to come up it found more problems that it repaired. The more this happened the worse things got for me using IE. I eventually did a system restore on the PC to a point before Mighty Max was installed on it but it didn't fix any of the problems I was experiencing. I have Trend Micro PCillin as my virus protection and it can also run and delete spyware so have no idea what to do next. I have Windows XP. Can someone help?

how can i get a genuine product key code for my windows xp with out purchasing the $100 software. i bought my computer from a guy who had an ad in the pennysaver and he installed windows xp. well according to windows validation check when i try to install updates, its not genuine, therefore i can't download any updates. i really can't afford to buy the software for $100, since currently i have no job...any other alternatives?

well am a student very fond of computers and internet but not very fond of the technical aspects of it...

my problem is despite of having a PC and printer at home i have to rush to computer parlours to prepare any project reports,powerpoint presentations or other assignments....

i have to pay money for what i could do for free at home just b'coz of my vulnerability in MS office usage..

general usage of MS Word is fine for me...but when it comes to fine tunning the stuff i prepare i start cramping...

Inserting of tables at right places,proper spacing and formatting are a few areas i find hard dealing with..... same is the case while preparing powerpoint presentations or using MS Excel for graphs etc..

I hope i am clear with my question and i would sincerely appreciate if someone can suggest me a way to get rid of this trouble.....

I have recently downloaded the free trial of Corel Painter X and it's been working fine for a few days, but one day, my brush selector toolbar dissapeared, and has not since returned. I do not recall doing anything to cause this but it's a possibility.. I have tried just about everything to find the toolbar. It's just gone. I've tried window-> show brush selector bar but that has no effect and nothing shows up anywhere. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't help either. Does anyone have any bright ideas?? Am I just being stupid?

I'm trying to set up a file with bookmarks leading to individual files. So you'd click on a bookmark, and it would display a .pdf file. But all the other files would stay intact. I could switch between .pdf files by clicking the bookmarks. The closest I've gotten is where it opens a file, but that closes the other one. Any advice on how I can do what I need to do? Thanks.
