I can't right click on IE icon on desktop and get the properties to open. Anyone know why?

I began having problems when my husband downloaded PC MightyMax off the Net. I had installed IE version 7 on my PC November 10, 2006 and everything worked like it should. Through Mighty Max's instruction IE7 was removed. I was going to install IE 6 and after doing this, saw IE6 once when I opened my browser the first time then it was back to IE7. Having problems ever since. Mighty Max said it repaired a host of problems as soon as it was downloaded and throughout three days it continued to come up it found more problems that it repaired. The more this happened the worse things got for me using IE. I eventually did a system restore on the PC to a point before Mighty Max was installed on it but it didn't fix any of the problems I was experiencing. I have Trend Micro PCillin as my virus protection and it can also run and delete spyware so have no idea what to do next. I have Windows XP. Can someone help?

You have to get rid of MightyMax,it's very hard to remove try hear.

1.MightyMAX will fix the problems
only when you buy the program.
Your IE was not changed by this program.
Uninstall this program. from start up.

2.Go to C:/ProgramFiles/ Internet Explorer/iexplore.
click for properties.. Check the version.
Now Create a short cut here for IE.
Now view/explorer bar/ folders.
Drag the shortcut to Desktop. and test.

3. Start/Control Panel/ Add remove Programs
Uninstall Mighty Max. if you want.
Also you can repair IE here. Select Windows Programs.
