I have recently downloaded the free trial of Corel Painter X and it's been working fine for a few days, but one day, my brush selector toolbar dissapeared, and has not since returned. I do not recall doing anything to cause this but it's a possibility.. I have tried just about everything to find the toolbar. It's just gone. I've tried window-> show brush selector bar but that has no effect and nothing shows up anywhere. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn't help either. Does anyone have any bright ideas?? Am I just being stupid?

Try the following: when you open your file keep F1 pressed. A message box should appear and ask you if you wand to reset everything to the factory settings. Click yes.

Hope this works. I had problems with Corel Photopaint and this is how I resolved them.

Actually, Loana, it's F8, not F1.
