For my spreadsheet, I am having a check box with text that says 'I accept the following terms and conditions'. Below, there is a 'submit' command button. How can I make an alert pop up if the submit button is pressed but the check box is not ticked? Thanks in advance

I shrinked a photo to 32x32, I pasted it to Paint after I sized the blank space to 32x32, I clicked 'Save as,' I typed a name for it followed by "ico" without the quotes, I saved it to a file, and when I opened that file, the photo's name was without the "ico" sufix, and when I tried to use that icon to put on one of my files, the computer said that the file didn't contain an icon. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I have 4 computers on my network, 2 with XP and 2 with WIn 98. I need to convert the XP machines to NTFS so I can store files larger than 4gigs. Will there be any problem accessing the fat32 files on the network with the newly converted NTSF drives? and vise-virsa?

A lot of my programs won't start up. I get an error message that says "the OLEAUT.DLL file cannot start." Is this error something that I can fix with a few clicks and key strokes or do I have to take it to some computer genus? Please help?

Hi guys, Last month I asked if u guys would pray 4 me and my family. Boy what a response, I never had one idiot come online telling me to die etc that happened 2 me b4. I had lots of wonderful answers and offers 2 pray 4 me and a lot of helpful info etc. How on earth do I give one person the points when all others earned them. So 2 all of u lovely people with lovely hearts, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and will give you all updates, to the person who sent me a web address 4 a dialysis information and help, I popped into it quickly and read it 4 a little while and found it fantastic alreadt I have found a new needling technic called the button technic, I am going to ask the nurses tomorrow at the renal unit to show me, thanks a million guys.

Our subscription for NIS 2006 has run out and we have decided to go for AVG this year instead. I need to be able to completely erradicate NIS before installing AVG. Is there a way to do this, I've heard it's very tricky to completely uninstall? Also, we have a Dell and the program was pre-installed before we received it, and this will make it harder to uninstall I think. AND...I can't find the software disc for NIS 2006!! Do I need it?

Hi guys, happy new year to all of you around the world. Now any of you tech heads out there know if Internet Explorer 7 has sorted itself out yet and ok to upgrade, when I upgraded to IE 7 back in November I had hell in all probs and had to go back to IE 6. Only prob is my sign in page is different to what it was when my pc was bought new, it asked me to upgrade which i did and it was different but going back to 6 as i think mine was at first, my sign in page is nothing like when first bought, I'm flamming puzzled as 7 looked like i had b4 but with extra bits , and 6 is totally different, surely they dont do half sizes? ha ha.

I am on BT internet with yahoo, sorry guys I still am a learner, u will have 2 put up with me, most of u know i am disabled and find things hard to understand, I hate keep mentioning my disabilities, but its part of me that cannot shut up, i love chatting to people and the only friends i have r on here.
