Help in excel..?

Question

For my spreadsheet, I am having a check box with text that says 'I accept the following terms and conditions'. Below, there is a 'submit' command button. How can I make an alert pop up if the submit button is pressed but the check box is not ticked? Thanks in advance

put this code in the submit button at the top.

If checkbox1.checked = false then
msgbox ("you must check the box")
exit sub
end if
