Like the person above mentioned, its a pre-programmed button on the microwave/range which is set for a particular product (it automatically sets the heat power level and time to cook) such as for popcorn there's usually a button.

Some microwaves come with pre-programmed cooking times and power levels for certain foods or recipes. I have one, for instance that is pre-programmed to cook a "baked" potatoe.
