i have xp professional and xp home edition . actually i had one os (xp professional) . then i installed other os(xp home edition) . now i want to remove xp professional. please help me
note : i dont have cd of xp professional

IE7 is the worst app i have ever used WTF were they thinking? And that's coming from a fan. Folks do ur self a favor stay as far away from IE7 as you can. It crashes more then a blind drunk 16 year old in his daddys vet!

I'm reading about creating my own amateur video games. I'm wanting to use directx but i'm wondering is directx10 available to the video game industry yet? Of course it won't be available commercially until Vista but do developers who plan to use DX10 for their games have what they need? Also is directx10 or even 9 available for amateurs or do you have to have a partnership with microsoft?

I can't save on drive a, when i try to save on a floppy disk. When I troubleshooted it gave me code 39 and said that the file is corrupted or missing. I am in college and i really need my drive a because of all the paper i type. Please can someone help me fix this problem. Also, I am not a computer whiz. I own a Dell Inspiron laptop with windows XP. It has plenty enough ram, disk space, graphics capabilities, etc. to run the games i have been trying to run. Reinstallation doesnt work and the generic windows error message pops up as soon as the game switches to full screen. This has happened with Splinter Cell: double agent as well as Battlefield Vietnam. However, it plays Morrowind Oblivion perfectly fine which is a much more demanding game. I realize im trying to run desktop games on a laptop but i figured it would work anyways. are there any steps i can take to resolve this? or anything i might need to download in order to make my system compatable? all my drivers and my operating system are up to date. the only issue is the initial startup of these programs. any ideas?

This is a recent thing. I'm running XP SP2, and I've made a couple changes lately, including enabling a long-installed internal wireless card and installing IE7. I did uninstall IE7 and it still freezes up. I can stream for a while (Real Audio, Google Videos, WMP feeds), but then there is a sudden loud "pop" sound and all freezes - the mouse, the sound, the video - everything. I have to hold in the power button to shut down.

I've heard it might be my drivers/codecs or it might be a virus or similar. I did do a complete scan using Norton/SpyBot/AdAware, but still streaming kills me even though I can play files from my hard drive all day long. ...... Help?

when i got to click on any link to a download it closes my internet explorer. and the funny thing is i does it on bitcomets internet browser as well.i have heard of hijackers .. but this is weird i dont know if its a virus a hijacker a trojan or what .. but any advise would be greatly appreciated
