how do you merge layers on adobe photoshop?

on 2.0. each time I try to copy the image somewhere else, it only gives that layer.

what u have to do is highlight the pictures u want then send them to ur document take it out of the photoshop then u can do anything u want

"Copy Merged" Short cut: Ctrl+Shift+C

on the layers palette, go to 'flatten layers'.
