How can we make her slide show run on repeat? Thanks

Yes, you can.
Go to the Slide Show menu and choose Set Up Show. Under Options, there is a check box for "Loop until Esc" or something close to that. This option will repeat the show until you press the Esc key. Also, if this is something you will be running automatically, make sure to set automatic page transitions.

That is very sweet of her. There is a slot which allows what you want to do with the slides - to show one by one. Check carefully and you will find it.
