You cannot remove an OS (Operating Syatem) once it has been installed. The only way is to format the partition in which you have installed the OS. This is only possible if you have installed both the OS in different partitions. Thereafter, you will have to edit the boot.ini file which is a hidden file in the root directory. Otherwise, you always keep on getting the dual boot option. In case you have upgraded the Win XP Home to Win XP Pro, then you will have to format the partition wherein the OS resides. There is no other way. Backup your data before you format. In case you are formatting your C: Drive i.e. the root drive, then you will have to format both the partitions where your OS have been installed. So avoid formatting the Root Drive.

have installed the two in different drive C: and D:
then you can format the drive
just back up your necessary data on that drive
right click the drive choose format. and finally press ok

make sure you should not log on that one operating system which you want to uninstall.
