if you have an anti virus program on your computer go ahead and download it just Scan it first before you open it. I do it all the time. sometimes i get a virus others i don't i just delete the file and try again when it has a virus.

I don't know what iLife 06 is but as long as you got a decent anti-virus and anti-spyware software you shouldnt have much trouble. Also, try not to download ILLEGAL software or porn which normally carry viruses. As long as its legal and free-license software/stuff you should be alright with your standard virus protection. Standard would be Norton/Mcafee/AVG/Panda anti-virus (i prefer Mcafee, do notice AVG and panda are free license if im not wrong) and Lavasoft Ad-ware or spybot for spyware/malware. GOOD LUCK

Don't do it. It's not a virus thing.. but the spyware and other crap that wastes processing time. Nearly impossible clearing all the crap out of your box .It's just not worth it.

If you really want to use LimeWire, just load it on someone else's computer. That's what I did!

Their loss!
