Where can I find out most popular video codecs for Windows Media Player to imporve the video quality. Hope all of my friends will help me quickly ... thanks guys

New codec will NOT improve video quality. Codec is just... it decodes the stream so it can be played on your PC. If it somehow produces better quality, that is because the codec did post-processing before displaying it, and that's BEYOND the definition of a codec.

As for which codecs are "most popular", that's something else entirely, and irrelevant to the first question.

So, what do you REALLY need?

there is no codec to improve the video quality.............but try divx.........it automatically adjust the picture(means brightness,contrast,hue saturation....etc)
