2 part question:

First part:

Will linux computers (say one with Mandrake 10.1 installed on on it) be able to co-exist on a Windows Network that has 3 other windows pcs on there?

Second part:

If so, will it be able to view the shares created on the file server along with the ability to print from the printers on the print server?

A friend is using Juno on XP (via dialup) and cannot access her work webmail from home. It seems that Juno is not allowing her to browse to any "https" site. I have cheked her internet security settings and she has everything set to medium. She has even added the site as a "trusted" site. Any ideas?

I am taking a computer class online...and i need Microsoft Access 2003 to do my homework for next week and,of course, i dont have it. I want to know what it is or what i would use it for... I am wondering if i buy this, will i ever use it again, outside of this class... or if instead of buying it i should use one of the labs at school??

OK, so I got this bootable installation CD for Windows which WORKS (I've used it several times before, and just tested it on another computer), I checked that before posting, so don't mention it.

I currently have Fedora Core 5 installed on my system. When I try to boot from Windows XP installation CD it halts after "Please wait while setup inspects your current configuration" (no computer activity).

Googling, I found out that this is a common issue.

If I boot into a DOS shell using a Windows 98 Startup Disk and then removing Fedora's partitions (actually I need to wipe out completely Fedora for my Windows installation -there is no other way-, but I will reinstall Fedora again right after)? Is this OK? Then I will be able to boot from the installation CD?

I have e machine computer with operating window xp software. one day I,m format hard drive use my creat format disk, after format my hard drive, i can not reinstallation e machine software form cd rom, I just can install window 2000, i brought from store. now who people can teach me, how to format my hard drive again and reinstallation my software provide from e machine company, because that reinstallation cd is window xp. i do not want to down grade from xp to 2000.please help me. appareciated

i ate some amount of food but people dont care that your big in elementary school

i really didnt no i was bigger because i thought it was normal going threw pupertity and the only way i could figure i was big because when i went swimming at a party or at paradise i would be noticed and poked my stomach

probally biggest kid in the school and my stomach was gigantic
my stomach was hitting the front of the desk! durning music class and it was quite embarrasing
2004-2005 when i was able in high school to hang with my friends and wa smore open
began to eat rapidly and gain weight rapidly
entered contests like pie eating and burger eating
i ddint care liked my belly nd my friends loved it and watching it get bigger

I had music in two "My Music" folders. One in the C drive under Administrator and one in the C drive under my name on the desktop. I deleted the Administrator folder of music, but the Media Player still sees all that music! It also sees everything that's in the folder I kept.

I have re-started the machine, no change. This doubling up only started recently, and after that I finally worked out I had two folders of music.

How come it's still seeing music files that are not there any more? It's driving me demented! I can't go through and delete them all from the player - I tried and it says it can't find them to delete!

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

hi all..
My pc is all new and has perfect components and software, win XP to go with, I have DSL and browse the net all day.
Problem: too many programs of what I use like msn and yahoo messengers, Magnetic by Incredimail AND also some of my Windows Explorer windows, especially the "Search" window ALSO Internet Explorer windows have gone totally crazy!
The shut down or just close BY THEMSELVES!!!
It's driving me CrAzY!
Some friends said it was some corruption in windows and that I have to re-install it, some others said it was a virus.
I turned on "System Restore" on my Control Panel and got two anti-viruses : AVG Free Edition and Kaspersky Internet Security tryout and both detected nothing.
After the "System Restore" activation it got slightly better but not gone.
Till now I've uninstalled and installed yahoo messenger for over 5 times and in vain and when I try searching for a file on my computer,all the icons and my taskbar vanish for a moment & back again.
Plz HELP!
