Does it have to go through the windows genuine advantage from microsoft? Thanks

Yes, you would need to go through the windows genuine advantage.

Since IE 7 is a BETA version, I recommend against using it. Lots of people here have made complaints and want to GO BACK to IE 6 (with SP1). So it is probably a bad move to try it. Learn more about how to GO BACK if you try it.

yes, if u want to install and run IE 7 , there is no other option but to go through the process of validation, and if ur not using a genuin version of windows there is no need trying to intall it all..cause u would not be able to install it..
secondly IE 7 is in its beta stages..if u go through the question posted here u will see a lot of people have problems using it..some having problems with its features while others are having technical problems.. so if u have a genuin windows installed on ur pc, hold on for a couple months till the final version of IE 7 is released!

Absolutely not. Internet Explorer 7 is available to anyone and everyone for free. Microsoft wants everyone to use IE 7 and beat the competition from Firefox and Opera web browser.

Just download IE 7 of Microsoft.com. Then make yahoo your home page.

yes ---- its part of the installation process
if ur using a pirated version of windows, then u can't use IE7
