I downloaded ubuntu and installed it over Windows 98, well I want Windows 98 back so I grabbed my Windows 98 upgrade and put it in my CD-ROM Drive and when I click on setup.exe
it says something about not having an application to run an .exe file. SO PLEASE HELP ME GET WINDOWS BACK!

I am trying to copy my games folder to a Memorex formatted 3.5 inch floppy disk. My computer keeps saying not formatted do I want it to and I say yes. Every time it comes back w/a error message - bad disk. Just bought them. 2nd Pack

I'm totally stumped here. I've got a saved document but it's formatting is like this:

abcdefg
hijklmno
pqrstuv
wxyz

The entire doc. is about 60 pages long. How so I format it so that the sentence looks like this:

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

I want the sentences to fill the line. What I've been doing is going to the last word in the sentence and hitting the delete button so that the line below automatically get's shifted up, but that's too long of a process. I can't figure out how to do it automatically to the entire document at once. I tried to justify all, but that didn't work. Anyone know what I can do?

When i have any two windows applications open, normally, you would click on the rear one to bring it to the front. On my pc it comes to the front by just passing the mouse over it. I dont like this. How can i reset it??

Please help. I try to play videos or movies and they stop and pause all the way through and I have to restart it. It is impossible to watch anything that way. Can someone please help me figure it out. I don't know much about pc's... duh... Thanx

I have a PDF file, and I'd like save only certain pages in the file to a separate file only contain the page(s) I want. Is there a way to do so? I have Acrobat Reader 8.0, and a pdf printer driver. But it doesn't work for the original file is a PDF file. All helps are appreciated!

You'd think someone with the know-how to sign up and use Yahoo! Answers would also have the ability to do internet searches to find answers to their questions. Why don't people just do that? The internet is full of answers to almost any topic. Remember RTFM?

Somehow my computer changed to Unicode (UTF-8) and everytime I click on Western European (Windows) it doesn't stay, it goes right back to Unicode. No the Auto-Select is not checked. I've ran VirusScan. I've restarted my PC. How can I change in back to Western??

I just gave my visa card details to some website which claims i will be able to make a lot of money by joining them. I am waiting to recieve whatever it is i have paid for - a web page or something to start selling their items. Have i been stupid? Will they clear out my account? I am not in total panic as i don't have much money in my account and only a small over-draft limit (it was a debit card i used). I am just thinking how silly i have been - do you think i will have been ripped off, or are some of these things genuine?

Every time I turn on my computer, I get a black screen. Text appears, and it lets me choose four options, Safe Mode, Last Good Configuration, and two other things, which I cannot remember. Yet, when I choose any of them, the Windows XP loading screen comes on, then the screen turns blue. It says UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME and has a alittle more text at the bottom. What can I do to fix this!?

Every time i try to log on (Windows XP) I type in my password and then i shows my desktop but the it logs me out straight away before i have time to do anything.... Ive recently installed Kasprisky Anti-Virus 6.0 to get rid of some rubbish on my computer and it told me to restart so i did and when it turned back on it just keps loging out everytime i try to log in =( Anyone know a way round this? Ive tried safemode and all those safemode options...
