I always attributed this to the speed of my internet connection, which used to be dial-up. But now I'm on broadband. So that wasn't the reason at all.

After downloading the programme. He is unable to open it.... the microsoft security logo is super imposed over the programme and nothing we try can open the programme to install it on the lap top....
any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Okay I have Norton on my dell computer and I've also something called Ad-Ware SE when i right click on it, it gives me the option of useing my Norton to scan my Ad-Ware with is it safe to use my Norton to scan my Ad-Ware with, will the two get along? Hey everyone, I just registered at myyearbook.com and they let you upload Mp3s files into your online space and stream them to other users - isn't this a massive copyright breach? I asked their support about this but they never bothered to get back to me. How is it that you would get in trouble for uploading copyright videos at youtube but myyearbook is allowed to have music files uploaded by users? If anyone knows any details about how this may work legally I'd love to know!

Ive downloaded an EXE file and it wont open so that i can install it. Keeps sking if i want to use the web to find a programme to open it with. That doesnt do anything.

my internet explorer is running really slow and keeps saying that it is running without add ons but when i go to the add ons screen it shows they are all enabled

Every time I try printing from excel the line disappear and only the numbers and words come out. I want the line to come out when I print it. How can I do that?

Right now I have a micron, with a socket a motherboard...this is what it is now.

nFORCE MICRO-STAR MS-6373 motherboard
AMD Athlon 2000+
512MB ram
Nvidia GeForce 4 MX420 (64mb)
120 GB HD

I am wanting to upgrade to:
AMD Sempron 3300+ socket a
1.5 gb of ram
nvidia 8000 series pci video card

then take the mobo and parts out of the micron beige box and put it in this http://www.directron.com/htpc280ba.html ... for my home theatre setup then liquid cool it and overclock it... should I go through with that and spend the 650 dollars or just save up for a new computer? the reason im doing this is because ive bought 3 games that i can't even play now because of my video card

I am using windows XP, Everything was fine but one morning when i woke up the movies i have would'nt play sound. Now nothing plays not even boot up, do i need a new sound card?
I have been in control panel and everything with sound is all working fine. I even go to Device Manager to check if there is any yellow question marks anywhere (particularly the sound) to make sure it is enabled. What annoys me most is that when I go to volume control , I get this message " there are no active mixer devices available.To install mixer devices , go to control panel ,click printers and other hardware , and then click add hardware.The program will now close" .

What do I have to do to get it back?

I have a Kodak digital camera. I recorded a short movie on it (1:24 and 40.30 MB). I want to e-mail the movie, however, I tried to with both my lycos e-mail and Kodak Easy Share, and they both say that the file is too big to upload. Anyone have a solution so that I will be able to e-mail the movie?

I was running a Norton Antivirus Scan when my computer froze. I waited to see if it'd unfreeze but it didn't. So I manually turned off the computer and turned it back on. When it turned back on I found it had system restored to a checkpoint 2 years ago. I have no other system restore checkpoints between these 2 years. What can I do?

I bought an APPLE computer shortly after christmas. I now want to install a game called The Sims 2. When I put the cd in, the installer helper pops up and i click install, but an alert pops up and days The Sims 2 needs at least 1 MB of free space, and advices me to clean my drive. My friend told me to talk any pictures I have on my computer and upload it to a photo hosting web site, I did that, and it still alerts me of the same problem, so she says to delete some of my 906 songs I have in my iTunes, YEAH RIGHT! lol Let's just say thats were the experimenting STOP!
please give me knowlegdable advice.

What is the least expensive way to give customers in a coffee shop wireless internet. My coffee shop is wired for phone but not for cable. I need wireless for 5 computers in the front of my store. As well as wireless through out the coffee shop for customers with laptops.....

Which type of system do you recommend: terminal-to host, file server, or client/server?
Which protocol and network switching device(s) you would use for the five computers on the LAN and for the wireless access?
In regards to cabling, which media type will be best suited for this project?
What telecommunications device should the coffee house purchase?
Which Internet service type would suit the customers best?
