I have a Kodak digital camera. I recorded a short movie on it (1:24 and 40.30 MB). I want to e-mail the movie, however, I tried to with both my lycos e-mail and Kodak Easy Share, and they both say that the file is too big to upload. Anyone have a solution so that I will be able to e-mail the movie?

Use winzip or winrar to pack the movie into 7MB chunks which you can then mail separately and can be recombined automatically when dearchiving at the other end.

A more radical solution is to recode the video using a more efficient codec. That length of movie should compress down to about 5MB without significant loss using xvid or divx.

Make an account on http://www.youtube.com (it's totally free) then upload your video there. If the video is private, you can set the video up so only people you want to see it will be able to. Then just email the link they give you. Trust me, it's infinitely easier than trying to email movie files.

I don't know if it will work but you might be able to put it on yahoo briefcase as an attachment and send the site name to whom ever.
Or you might use winzip and compress

There's a limit on how many minutes, but youtube.com is your best bet.

There are websites that specialise in that. Try www.sendfile.com
