There is not a patch for changing your computer's time to day light savings time. In order for your computer to see the change you must open your clock by right click on top of it and once it is open click the block that ask if you want your computer to recognize day light savings time. You don't loose anything or need anything special to get your time to switch when its that time of the year. Once you check the box for daylight savings time your computer will also handle things when its time to come off it. Chances are your computer if it was built in the USA its already programed that way.

This 3 hundred and sixty 5 days daylight hours saving time got here like 2 weeks early or something, and it screwed all the desktops up that did not have the "patch". visit microsoft's website and do a seek for 'daylight hours reductions time replace" or "daylight hours svings time patch" and that would desire to discover you a link to the replace.

I believe they already have, but why would they need to when there's probably more than one way that you can do it yourself? First you need to double-click on the clock and go to the time zone tab and be sure that automatically adjust clock for daylight savings time changes is checked.

Microsoft updates included the update with February updates. If you have automatic updates on your computer,it should be updated already. If not, go to Microsoft Updates and check for updates and it will check to see if you still need it.
Then install.

yes they are, as a registered MS partner I did remember getting the email, but I deleted it as I do get a boat load of nonsense from them.
