Like i want to download load a trial. and when its finish, i'll delete and download it again, but that wont happen unless my computer is not recognized

I dont have a problem with windows XP, it meets my needs and quite happy with it ,,,why are mircosoft are already shelfing it away? There are lots of software issues and hardware issues with windows vista , and already getting bad press on the internet. in which i belive will be solved , in about a years time. am i right not to rush to PC World and buy another "windows vista" ready computer until these issues are sorted out first ? After all it is just another platform ..... How long will windows XP will last for at least ? any idea how long windows XP will last for?

i just got on my computer, i have over 1000 songs, most of them are not mp3 anymore, there alot smaller in size and the file type is exe, can this be fixed, or are all my songs lost?

I have a cardboard reprint of a very old painting of a horse sale, the original was probably early 1800's or older, have no idea of the title or artist, can't think of any way to get help finding out except to put an image of the reprint itself into a yahoo question?

I just reseted my modem and router on the first floor. The computer with the ethernal cable is working with the internet fine. My computer downstairs in the basement, is connected to a wireless router, and says that I have limited of no connectivity. I was about to call my internet supplier again, but I didn't want to embarrass myself. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

this is a question for bt home hub users(u.k)
i have noticed a steady increase in the downstream speed in the hub manager,at the time of writing it is 5,056 kbps and 478 kbps upstream
im not complaining about this but just wondering if any other users get this amount,i know i have been loyal to bt,many i.s.p,s have tried to convince me to migrate to them but i have allways been happy with bt
i have also noticed drops in connection but i was forwarned that this would happen when engineers increased my internet speed
has any other bt home hub user noticed speed increases?

I am in the process of moving my stuff from one address to another and I was wondering, do I just unplug my PC and haul it to the other house and then replug it in and everthing will be alright then? Or is there a procedure that I have to do before I unplug the unit.
