I am in the process of moving my stuff from one address to another and I was wondering, do I just unplug my PC and haul it to the other house and then replug it in and everthing will be alright then? Or is there a procedure that I have to do before I unplug the unit.

Just unplug it and then move it. However be very careful. Make sure that you pay attention to where everything is to be plugged back into. Now days everything is pretty much color coded. Make sure that your pc is turned off before you unplug anything. You should never ever move your pc while it's on.

What I generally do is unplug the computer, and then unplug all the attachments (aka keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, etc,). After that, if the computer is going to be in a confined space, and have stuff piled up around it, or if it's going on a moving truck, I suggest that you pack everything back up in it's original packaging. If not, you can just load it into your car, and set it back up once you reach your destination.

Thats about all you have to do, just be gentle with banging it around while you drive.

Shut the computer down, unplug all wires (most of them are color coated so that when you plug it back up you know where to plug stuff).

There is really nothing special you have to do...

The computer is already protected by the CASE AKA TOWER< there is no need to cover it up or anything.
