What happened?

i just got on my computer, i have over 1000 songs, most of them are not mp3 anymore, there alot smaller in size and the file type is exe, can this be fixed, or are all my songs lost?

You got a worm on your computer. Run an up to date virus checker. See if it turned them into self playing songs.
