"Virtual memory" is a small part of your hard drive used as a replacement for RAM when you run out of RAM space. So you could get more RAM. But you could also try closing some programs. Sometimes a lot of programs set themselves to load when Windows starts, and you might not need some of these. Close them and take them off the autostart list if you don't use them. You could also adjust your virtual memory settings so your hard drive uses a larger chunk of space. I'll go check how to do that...

Okay, found it. Right click on 'My Computer'. Choose 'Properties'. Click on the 'Advanced' tab. Click on the 'Performance' settings button. Click on the 'Advanced' tab. Click on the 'Change' button under virtual memory. If the radio button for 'custom' size is already chosen, try changing it to 'System managed size'. That way the pc will automatically take the space it needs. If that is already checked, choose 'custom' and increase the amount. Try this a few times until the warning goes away.

By the way, just cleaning junk off your hard drive probably won't change anything, despite what other people say. The problem isn't a crowded hard drive, it's crowded memory.

Virtual memory is actually hard drive space used to store data when your computer's RAM (Random Access memory) is full.

Delete a load of crap that you dont need anymore. Anything large like music and video files that you don't use.

Then download crapcleaner from here:
