I have standard Road Runner and my cable runs from the wall into my computer, however, I want to add an additional computer to my office, so is there some way to split the connection to go into both pc's?

Wierd, I can listen to itunes on my computer and it sounds fine, But when I try to listen or watch stuff on youtube or even music clips I already have downloaded on my computer on quicktime I can't hear anything, when I play with the volume control I can hear it ding to let me know how loud it is at?? (and yes I have the volume setting on those programs turned up too) I have restarted my mac twice and it still hasn't fixed this.. what is wrong with it?? why can i hear sound in some programs but not others all of a sudden?

I have a file on my computer , an application actually, path C:\Windows\System32\appcfg.exe(which I think stands for application configuration) this file is actually infected by a trojan and because of this file , I'm unable to run any applications apart from Internet Browsers.. Not even Anti virus programs, nor any online Anti virus program.... so can someone please tell me if I cud just delete this file... Coz to format my system I have to download the files required for a bootable disc (I don't have one and to call a professional will cost me money, something my parents aren't ready for) and at a download speed of 30 kbps , it's a really painfully long process to download the whole thing... So can someone tell me if I cud just delete this file or not... or do you think it might harm my system more if I delete it....Coz i've found loads of spyware, malware etc. on my system but as long as this trojan (Win32/VB.ATE) exists I won't be able to perform a full scan nor clean up my system.

im running a windows 2000 millenium editon computer.Recently i saw the blue screen of death,INACESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
i have seen it 3 times so far. this is the 3rd.The first time was 4 years ago.A teqnician fixed it.The second time, 6 months ago, my mom fixed it somehow, unfortunately she forgot how she did it.Now its up to me .So please tell me how to fix it.And dont bother telling me to install new softwares cause i cant enter the computer at all.I have tried every single F8 options.Even the bios system, was uselsess.Even the set up didnt work.I tweaked it untill i coudlnt take it anymore.Please tell me a way.Thanks.

But I accidentally put in at 'landscape'. And couldn't change it back to 'portrait'. Been searching through net on how to change it back, but, unfortunately some of what I reserched doesnt help me. im on the internet, actually i was on myspace, but anyway my computer said Microsoft C++ buffer overload detected.
seeing as it never happened before, and i just recovered from a trojan virus yeaterday, that it had something to do with that.
Did it just take to long to load, no, because it happened right when i went on the website. Although the internet has been slow lately for me, i doubt it has anything to do with it. Has this happened to anyone, and if so what can i do to fix it?

I know that there is software that allows your PC to make/receive calls, but do all the phones in the house ring?? Basically I want to have it where I can have phone calls at night, while on the PC. without the other phones waking anyone up, or having to turn off all the ringers in the house.

ok, I just released my ipaddress. and renewed it. it went to the same ip that it was. but in the command line prompt, i'll ping the router that gave it it's ip address and get 100% loss. wtf? my router is a wireless router and i'm using my laptop wirelessly right now on my network and it's working fine. i can ping my router with my laptop fine. but my desktop has no internet connection but does have a wired connection to my router. the light on the router is on for my pc, my pc says it's connected and it's sending and receiving packets fine. when i tried to repair it, it said that there seems to be nothing wrong with this connection. I just removed a bunch of add-ons I added like dns server and IP routing. i didn't get it anyway. way too confusing. but i still want to run 03 server so that i can use the great features and applications with it.
