Screen calls with PC?

I know that there is software that allows your PC to make/receive calls, but do all the phones in the house ring?? Basically I want to have it where I can have phone calls at night, while on the PC. without the other phones waking anyone up, or having to turn off all the ringers in the house.

You ned to manually turn off the ringers on the other phones if you do not want them to ring as your computer or software cannot recognize telphones. Also your computer cannot give instructions to your telephone line for not ringing the "other" phones in the house.
