At the end of Defrag. there will be a report that you can look at when it comes up.

If nothing else you can analyze it again and it should show that there are a lot less fragmented files. It sounds like you have it set to shut down automatically. Look for a check box next time you run it.

You must have inadvertently checked the box that says "close report when done" You may also have a box that you have to check that says "view error report when done" in either case you just have to look hard for it.
