Wierd, I can listen to itunes on my computer and it sounds fine, But when I try to listen or watch stuff on youtube or even music clips I already have downloaded on my computer on quicktime I can't hear anything, when I play with the volume control I can hear it ding to let me know how loud it is at?? (and yes I have the volume setting on those programs turned up too) I have restarted my mac twice and it still hasn't fixed this.. what is wrong with it?? why can i hear sound in some programs but not others all of a sudden?

hi kk, yeah iv'e just tripled checked and I have absolutley all my volume controls in all the programs turned up all the way, can get sound frome everything but not the net or quiclktime??

your different players have settings and so does your audio card. I would look at the settings in audio and see if the software is click on.

likely some document might want to be corrupted interior the DVD/CD you inserted. because the document is corrupted, homestead windows cant discover the document required for Sims, so it assumed as you've inserted incorrect volume.

I would diss the Quick Time Player and get a copy of http://www.real.com Real Player. It has better sound quality and control. Hope this helps

First of all check your volume settings in the Quick Player.
