I have standard Road Runner and my cable runs from the wall into my computer, however, I want to add an additional computer to my office, so is there some way to split the connection to go into both pc's?

well great to be honest to you what i would do if this is a ofice and a business well first things first .

ideas of mine

I would make sure that I have the upgrades and new softwares windows vista and 2007 software and road runner as well.

For your problem i Would go to the local best buy or circurit city it caoset around 120 to 175 for what is called a hub routeing and switching togeter in one which this will help you out with adding that pc and if you would like to add more later on down the road then you will have a few extras lines from the hub and so on and the cheapest for 4 port ( 4 lines is 42.00 with taxes .) also as well I hope this was helpful to you . Take care god bless

the simplest way is to purely via yet another instantaneous card. There are USB ideas available too. of direction, if the two computers have an ethernet adaptor, i'm surprisingly specific you are able to desire to get some ethernet cable and a router and proportion your internet connection. yet i think of which you have gotten issues counting on what OS you're utilising. The esiest way is you pop the $20 for a instantaneous USB adaptor and connect the comparable way you probably did on your first laptop.

Wireless routers. Buy a wireless router.. you can have up to 4 PC's on them. And don't forget to buy the wireless adapters for your desktop PC's if your going wireless. You'll need something to catch the signal.
