this is a question for bt home hub users(u.k)
i have noticed a steady increase in the downstream speed in the hub manager,at the time of writing it is 5,056 kbps and 478 kbps upstream
im not complaining about this but just wondering if any other users get this amount,i know i have been loyal to bt,many i.s.p,s have tried to convince me to migrate to them but i have allways been happy with bt
i have also noticed drops in connection but i was forwarned that this would happen when engineers increased my internet speed
has any other bt home hub user noticed speed increases?

Ive noticed an increase of speed with bt homehub im on option 3 and got downstream 8,096kbps and upstream 448kbps. XPs service pack2 changed all open concurrent connections to 10 ive kind of fiddled with mine and upped it to 50 made quite a good difference with p2p sharing and online games

i had bt voyager 220v until 1 week ago and i had upload of 200kb/s and now i have upgraded to the home hub its 670kb/s with 7010kb/ download so the download has gone up by 1 meg but the upload has also gone up by over 400kb/s. i see your point as this is happening to me also , but i cant complain because my download has gone up way more than upload so im still happy with bt :) .

even tho i am not using the hub i am with bt broadband, and yes i also get increases and decreases in speed my fastest has been 7meg and slowest 51/2meg during the day, nothing to worry about tho until it gets to a very slow speed then i will play heck with them lol
