i have a file that is more than one gb, i already no how to get 828mb on a 700mb disc, but i need to no if there is a way to get a file more than one gb on a cdr

obviously some of u rnt reading the question. ive gotten 828mb on a cdr, i need to no if i can get more than 1gb onto a cdr, i dont give a cr*p about dvdrs or bluray discs cuz i dont have a dvd burner.

Yes you could do that by simply compress your files 1st.

7zip is a free software without any catch, open source project in case you need it and hate those software with lots of hidden agenda and spyware or adware.

A CD can only physically hold 700MB/ 5872025600 bits, there is no way around that and thats how it is. You can compress the files so non important bits in the files are thrown away to reduce the size but it is impossible to put more then 700MB on a CD that has a capacity of 700MB..

If you want to put a 1GB in a 1CD, that wont be

But if you want to Put a 1GB file on CD disk's, yes you can
by using a (zip / rar) program, you can zip the file to 700MB by (split), then copy them to as CD's

** IF you have a DVD-R: (storage capacity = 4.7GB, and that you dont have)

you can copy the 1GB in the DVD disc
