I already went into the control panel and made my own theme, but my new theme doesn't work for my browser... can anyone help?...

I can get on the internet sometimes, but that is usually for about 5 mintues. Then it will freeze and it error reports. Do I have a virus or something like that? In case it matters we had A LOT of snow in the last week and ice and just really cold weather. And now all the snow and ice melted.

I have a file in my music folder -- it's a windows media player file and it will NOT delete. when I right-click the file, There isn't a delete option. Dragging to the recycle bin does nothing. It will not move. Please help -- with instructions, please. When I right click, these are the options: "Play", "Add To Now Playing List", "Add To Playlist...", "Add To Sync List", "Add To Burn List", "Open With", or "Send To".

Three days noe on the connection icon there is a red X and someone told it is a dialler that charges me with long distance calls.I did scan disc and ran avast,found 6infected files form Adware and deleted them but the X is still here!Anyone help?

I downloaded a jpg file from Limewire with a long name and i cant get rid of it. It just says cant delete. I can not rename it or delete the folder or move it. It does not say used by another program. Please does anyone know a program that can delete this file? the file doesnt open either.

Someone said go to documents and settings click on the user name, but theres nothing there besides pictures and stuff. Theres no settings or anything. I checked the firefox folder, but found nothing. So how do I find it?

I was angry at my computer for lagginf so much while playing online. I hit the outside of the computer and I guess where i hit it one the other side inside of the computer I hit the prossesor. The whole computer went black and made a buzzing sound. Now when I turn on the computer the prossesor fan makes a noise like a rock stuck in a lawnmower. I turned off my computer twice and nothing was wrong now except the noise from the fan. When I turn on the computer it says hard disk failure. I wont start up now. It was the the fan i found out later on.

But now that i have a new fan the hard drive is okay when ever i turn on my computer it shuts down like a minute later. Can any one tell me what is wrong now why does my computer turn off by its self.

The computer I have has given me minor problems in the past but nothing I can't live with. I just recently moved it to a different location and it is loosing it. I will be working with an Excel spreadsheet and try to print or something of that nature and a screen pops up saying "Not enough memory". I have emptied the recycle bin and I always close the programs on the lower right corner.What can i do to free some space? Also, the icons for running programs turn to black when the "not enough memory" box pops up! Help!!

computer courses?
I work for a great company that has various feilds for there employees. I myself am a Service technician for engineering printers. (always had mechanical aptatude) My company would like to morphe me into what we refer to as a Software/hardware tech. Currently I am a "hardware tech." I have basic computer skills like this for instance, and burning DVD's, files and music. I have also programed home theater componants on my PC. I basically learn as I go. So in other words I have no idea were to start. And what courses I should take. My company will pay a substanial portion of my course fees. But I just can't see myself going back for a associates degree for 2 years, when I have only high school diploma from 13 years ago. The course I am looking at is at ITT and is three days a week.
What is a good start for individual courses? I would be in involved in some networking, and would need a knowledge of Microsoft.

everytime i go on the internet it closes because of an appication error and i have to send these error reports. i was wondering what can i do to stop these from happening, cause it would be nice to use the internet without it doing that every five or ten minutes.

I'm about to buy a new video/graphics card for my computer...however some of these cards have specific power requirements.

How do i determine how much wattage my current power supply has? Is there some way to find it under Windows XP?
