Are you sure its not refering to not enough Ram? The program may require more ram than your system has available! It has nothing to do with hard drive space or rom!

Well you probably just don't have enought ram. It isn't a big deal just go to staples or somewhere and buy additional ram you really should have a minimum of 256k in ram but more is always better. Then just pull your computer appart put it in. You really can't screw it up because it only fits in one place just fallow the directions and you'll be fine. I think it is only like $30 or $40 to up your ram. Couple of other things you can do..Defragment your computer, dump your cookies and temp internet files, install and run the fallowing three programs. They are all free and all pick up different stuff. Spybot, Ad-Aware SE Personal (you have to google the whole thing or you will get the one you have to pay for) and Windows Defender. All these should help as well.

How much space do you have on your hard drive? (your C: drive) If you have less than 200MB, then you need to start deleting files or uninstalling programs. (never delete programs manually, always use the uninstall option)
If you have plenty of hard drive space (more than 500MB), then it might be your physical memory or it's possible that you have spyware/adware on your computer that's taking up resources.
You can have your computer scanned for virus/spyware/adware FREE at antivirus.com. Take the online scan option for both virus/spyware.
And, yes, it can be your hard drive, especially when you're having problems printing. When you print, it creates a temporary spool file on your hard drive which it prints off of. You also have virtual memory/page file that resides on your hard drive, which acts as an extension of your physical memory (your RAM). If your hard drive is full, the virtual memory runs out of space, along with your RAM, and causes this sort of problem.

Try to increase the virtual memory of the computer. Right Click on the My Computer Icon. Select the Advanced tab and then performance button. On that screen select the advanced tab and then the change button on virtual memory. Just make sure that you have the available disk space. Double the value (again if you have the disk space) and see if that doesn't resolve the problem.

The not enough memory warning has nothing to do with hard drive space, it deals with system memory. It can deal with the hard drive if it spills over into virtual memory, which it probably is by the sound of things. In this case, get more system memory, you should be using at least 512MB if not more, and it's cheap now too.
Also, in general never use more than 75% of a hard drive's capacity, otherwise system performance severely degrades.

The HDD has no relation with memory low message. I suggest that you should add memory to your PC. It is cheap these days. If you are not intending to buy you just click ctrl+alt+del then go to processes and end some of the processes that you know will not use. GOOD LUCK!!

Well, you might want to install some more memory.
Look into how much actual RAM you have in the machine. Right-click on "My computer" and go to properties. There it will tell you how much ram is installed. If it is less than 256 on winxp or less than 128 on Win2000, ME or 98; then you need more ram.
