I can get on the internet sometimes, but that is usually for about 5 mintues. Then it will freeze and it error reports. Do I have a virus or something like that? In case it matters we had A LOT of snow in the last week and ice and just really cold weather. And now all the snow and ice melted.

Its an error report that I get every once in awhile. The ''this program is not responding''. Now I am just getting it everytimeI am on the computer.

the weather usually doesn't affect internet connections, or cables, but its proabably a bug, just a small one, search google to fix it, it happened to me once but not the exact same thing
you could search or download the free version or norton antivirus, get that and you should be good
