You receive an email with a joke attached from a friend (trusted source) who never sends jokes. The subject reads ‘This is a great joke!’ what you should do with the email and its attachment?

Send an e-mail back to your friend, and ask if they actually sent it.

If so, and they experienced no ill effects, then you are probably okay.

I would be wise to scan it with your A/V software before actually opening the attachment, though.

Discard it. If the joke cannot be told via an image or text - it's probably not worth the risk.

you need to download avg because it has an email scanner. Plus its the greatest evr so you wont ever have to worry about virus in your emails.
